CHG Building Systems constructed the Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings for this $46.5M Federal project for Joint Base Lewis McChord (JBLM). This project included a Company Operations Facility (COF) with attached covered hardstand, building information systems, fire protection and alarm system, Intrusion Detection System (IDS) installation and Energy Monitoring Control Systems (EMCS) connection as well as Tactical Equipment Maintenance Facility (TEMF) with vehicle maintenance shops, vaults, traveling bridge crane and associated specialized mechanical systems. The site is on 25 acres and both facilities are a combined 104,774 SF of space. The project has sustainability and energy efficiency features that will be provided to meet both LEED Silver and LEED Gold requirements.
